‘We have commissioned Greg on several occasions to make bespoke items for our home, including electric gates, screening and storage doors. He cleverly brought to life our ideas with quality galvanised components and red cedar, which is silvering down beautifully over the years. Greg is charming and reliable and listened to what we were trying to achieve, he then turned our thoughts into practical designs. The quality of his workmanship is second to none and we would have no hesitation in recommending Greg..

Greg Dovey is an experienced artisan in metalwork. We commissioned him for a set of traditional Cheltenham railings, front gate and driveway gates; as well as more contemporary wrap-around railings and metal staircase to complete a rear balcony, both on an 1840’s Georgian villa. The project was completed on time and the quality of the workmanship was excellent. We have no hesitation in recommending Dove Metalworks Cheltenham.

I just wanted to drop you a quick email to let you know how impressed I`ve been with your service.

After only a few brief conversations you quickly designed a gate that was ideal for me in its workings and design. Any difficulties you experienced when undertaking the actual installation were always overcome with ease and with a smile on your face.

I’m delighted with the end product and the price we agreed on.

"Bags of Help seat is a winner!" Chaceley Parish Council

Chaceley village residents and friends celebrated with “tea on the green” the provision of a new seat purchased with a grant from Tesco Bags of Help.

The seat created by village company, Dove Metalworks, replaces a simple wooden bench that had disintegrated as a result of the regular flooding suffered by the village. “We are very grateful to Bags of Help for their grant” said parish council chairman, Tony Stephenson. “The metal seat has made an attractive feature on the green compared with our old one and is already put to regular use by people visiting the village”.
