Dove Metalworks can design any style of gate or fencing to suit your property. Using sustainably sourced hardwoods and modern and traditional forging techniques, we can even combine both wood and metal to add security without looking out of place. All of our gates and fencing is handmade in our UK workshop. We design gates for a variety of applications, whether you are looking for something to finish the look of your home, or maybe something to increase the security of your premises. Security and Access

The main reason for having a gate at your premises is to add security and stop any unwanted access. Dove Metalworks provide a full design, fabrication and installation service so your gate system works seamlessly with security and open/closure. There are a number of different features that can be fitted to your new automated gates.

We are qualified to fit:

• Wireless intercoms.

• Keypad entry.

• Loop in ground detectors for automatic entry and exit to the property.

• Vehicle registration detection.

• Safety edges.

Automated Gates

• Sliding Gates - If your property has limited space, or you just prefer this style, sliding gates make a good solution to automating your gates. Gates can be fabricated from a variety of woods and metal and provide extra security compared to other gate styles. They are very versatile and can also be installed on flat or sloping ground.
  

• Swing Gates - This style can be added to any type of gate but requires much more space than a sliding gate. Automated swing gates work best on flat ground and provide a good level of security to a property. The automation is simpler and this method is more cost effective compared to other automation types.
  

• Above Ground - Above ground systems are by far the most cost effective systems available. They are post mounted and can even be installed to work with existing gates easily. Although not the most secure option, they still provide extra security compared to a non-automated gate.

• Below Ground - Below ground systems provide a very secure way to automate access to your property. They provide the most aesthetically pleasing look to your property but do require excavation to install the automation system. Although being more expensive the system is more durable being underground as it is not exposed to weather.
